Biography



Jochen Schild is a german Composer, Songwriter and Musicproducer.

He studied Jazz and Pop Music at the Music University of Stuttgart, Germany and at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, Liverpool / England. As a singer, keyboardist and musical director, he performed all around the world, playing with several artists, bands and orchestras, including the Hit Musicals "Mamma Mia!", "Wicked", or "Dance of the Vampires" at the Stage Palladium Theatre, Stuttgart / Germany.

From 2007 - 2013 he regularly worked in the Studios of Hollywood Composer Hans Zimmer in Santa Monica / California, contributing his work as a composer, arranger and engineer to blockbusters and movies like "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Iron Man", "Madagascar", "Bee Movie", "Shrek", or "Running the Sahara".
Collaborating with Composers such as Heitor Pereira, Rupert-Gregson Williams or Ramin Djawadi.

Jochen also wrote and produced music for TV series such as "Impractical Jokers", "Woody Woodpecker", "Temptation Island", "Paradise Hotel" or "Are you smarter than a 5th Grader".

After relocating back to Germany, Jochen wrote and arranged Music for German TV Movies like "Nur eine Nacht" with Yvonne Catterfeld, "Hanni und Nanni 2", "Der Kotzbrocken" with Roeland Wiesnekker, or "Die Schlikkerfrauen" with Sky du Mont and Annette Frier.

His music has earned him awards and recognition in several countries including two Global Music Awards for his arrangements and production of the Classic-Pop Project INCANTO ft. German Filmorchestra Babelsberg, including 3 Global Music Awards and 1 Hollywood Songwriting Award.
